Discover what and how Romans used to eat.

How did they cook flamingos and parrots? What were the must-have spices in their kitchens? Recipes from “De Re coquinaria” by famous food expert Marco Davio Apicio introduce us to food customs in the Roman Age. A culinary itinerary which focuses in particular on bread making, which was not only the food staple at the time but was also used in ceremonies and rituals.
The experience takes place in the beautiful setting of Brescia’s Santa Giulia Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
