Brescia and its province are widely recognized as a land of great culinary tradition and artistry. This year as well, several restaurants and pastry shops were listed in the most accredited national food guides. Here they are.

Gambero Rosso – Guida ristoranti d’Italia 2021

From the city to Lake Garda. From Franciacorta to Brescia’s plain. Several restaurants across the province are included in the 2025 edition of Gambero Rosso, the Italian restaurant guide.

Tied for first, with three Forchette each, are Miramonti L’Altro in Concesio, the reign of Chef Philippe Léveillé; Lido 84 in Gardone Riviera, led by Chef Riccardo Camanini; and Dina in Gussago, with Chef Alberto Gipponi as its leader.

Michelin Guide 2025

2025 brings two new Michelin stars to Brescia and its province: restaurants Casa Leali in Puegnago (chef Andrea Leali) and Tancredi in Sirmione (chef Vincenzo Manicone). This award honors the two young and talented chefs, and further enhances the quality of Brescia’s gastronomic offerings.

Here are the restaurants in our province awarded by the prestigious Michelin Guide for the year 2025:

Brescia’s province is home to true masters of dessert, as confirmed by the Gambero Rosso guide “Pasticceri & Pasticcerie 2025”:

  • Three Torte d’Oro: Pasticceria Veneto di Iginio Massari, Brescia – Award established ad hoc to celebrate the undisputed genius of the Brescian master;
  • Three Torte: Dolce Reale (Montichiari) and Pasticceria Roberto (Erbusco);
  • Two Torte: Crispen (Breno), Andreoletti (Brescia), Bedussi (Brescia), Piccinelli dal 1862 (Brescia), San Carlo (Brescia), L’Elite (Cologne), FN Nazzari (Iseo),

Here are the excellences in the world of ice cream recognized by Gambero Rosso for the province of Brescia:

Slow Food – Osterie d’Italia 2025

Another important recognition is the one awarded to the best Italian taverns by Slow Food, an international association committed to enhancing the value of food while respecting the environment and ecosystems.

The list of Brescian taverns included in the Slow Food 2025 guide and awarded the Chioccola for their setting, cuisine, and hospitality in tune with Slow Food values, in alphabetical order by location, are:

  • Le Frise – Artogne
