The Sentiero delle Tre Valli (Three Valleys Trail), named after Silvano Cinelli, is characterized by its length, about 120 km, and by the fact that it runs at relatively low altitudes, from 150 m in Brescia to about 2,200 m at Mount Colombine. It is a trekking in eight stages suitable for everyone, where some slightly more challenging variants, the ‘high’ variants, can be avoided with an easier route following the ‘low’ variants.
Starting in Brescia, the Sentiero 3V (3V trail), marked in the Brescian colors of white and blue, traverses the ridges of the Trompia Valley watershed with neighboring valleys; the Sabbia Valley to the east and the Bassa Valle Camonica (lower Camonica Valley), with Lake Iseo, to the west. There are several places to stop along the route; where they are managed it is advisable to pre-announce your arrival.
Places to stop are those where it is possible to stay overnight; restaurants and trattorias are not reported. Walking times are approximate with average backpacking and training; where a range is indicated (from, to) times refer to (high and low) variants.
