1000 Miglia: the most beautiful race in the world starts in Brescia

Like every year, the 1000 Miglia awaits you: the historic vintage car race is ready to attract enthusiasts from all over the world!

Described by Enzo Ferrari as “the most beautiful race in the world”, the 1000 Miglia follows tradition and has over 400 legendary vintage cars cross Italy between breathtaking locations and unmissable detours.

Among the unmissable moments in Brescia are the usual chassis punching in the Villaggio 1000 Miglia, the adrenaline-fueled start of the race, the crossing of the finish line followed by the award ceremony and 1000 Miglia: The Night.

100 years of Mille Miglia: what’s new for 2027

To celebrate the first 100 years of “the most beautiful race in the world”, the centennial edition includes important changes compared to the traditional format:

• the competition will last six race days instead of the usual five, effectively extending to an entire week of events;
• it returns to the month of May (from May 22 to 29), a date historically closer to that of the very first edition (March 26–27, 1927);
• the confirmed route maintains the classic and fascinating Brescia–Rome–Brescia axis, with departure and arrival set in Brescia.
