Taxodi Park

Learn more >

A naturalistic oasis to be discovered amidst raised walkways and aquatic plants that provide shelter for special bird species such as the grey heron. This is the Parco dei Taxodi (or Tassodi) in Paratico, a park on Lake Iseo, located near the former station, where the Oglio River meets Lake Sebino!

The park owes its name to Taxodium trees, conifers native to North America that can be admired within it, and covers about 20,000 square meters in a former abandoned area now redeveloped in full respect of the environmental context.

A 300-meter wooden walkway around the edge of the forest allows visitors to enjoy the beauty of the place from different vantage points.
